Lynne Keevers

I have a professional and research interest in the practices of social justice in community organisations and the contributions of the community sector to the health and well-being of local people and the communities in which they live.
My current research projects focus on youth homelessness,violence and trauma in relation to women, young people and children, professional practice in social service organisations, innovative pedagogy and curriculum design in social work education and widening participation and inclusive teaching and learning practices in higher education. Before commencing work in academia, I worked extensively as a practitioner in the community services industry.
