I joined Trinity College as a Junior Research Fellow in Biomedical Sciences in 2018. As an undergraduate, I studied Mathematics at Trinity College Dublin, followed by an MASt in Applied Mathematics at Cambridge University. I obtained my PhD from Cambridge in 2018 under the supervision of Elizabeth Murchison. During my doctorate I used computational and statistical modelling of genomic data to understand the origin and evolution of transmissible cancer.
I am currently a post-doctoral researcher in the Cancer Genomics group led by Dr David Wedge at the Oxford Big Data Institute. My primary research interest is understanding the development of rare cancers.
