Junior Research Fellow, International Relations, University of Cambridge

My primary research interests include international relations, 20th century history, empire and civilisational discourses in modern world politics, sovereignty and self-determination, nationalism and citizenship, human and minority rights. I also have nterests in wars and war crimes. I work on creativity and politics and am interested in the role of different forms of art in fostering socio-political change. I am currently working on a documentary on the consequences of the international justice system in the Balkan area.

I joined the University of Cambridge as a Junior Research Fellow in International Relations in 2016. Before that, I was a post-doctoral Research Associate within the ERC-funded project “Individualisation of War” at the European University Institute, Italy, whilst teaching at Sciences Po Paris, France. I received my Ph.D in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute.
