Dr Margo Barker is a nutritional epidemiologist with 30 years experience in public health nutrition research. Margo completed her PhD at Queen’s University Belfast in nutritional biochemistry, and began her research career in public health nutrition at the University of Ulster.
After a period working as a public health nutritionist with the dairy industry, she joined the University of Sheffield and helped establish postgraduate programmes in human nutrition. She joined Sheffield Hallam University as a Reader in 2016. She is a registered nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition, UK.
