Maria Vozzo

I am a marine ecologist with research interests in habitat restoration, applied ecology and conservation. Over the past three years, I investigated the ability of oysters to provide habitat under a variety of scales and environmental conditions while conducting research for my PhD at Macquarie University. I am also part of the research and development group for the Shellfish Reef Restoration Network of Australia. Originally from the United States, I have studied oyster ecology and restoration in North Carolina, Louisiana and now in New South Wales, Australia.
