Marina Yusupova

Lecturer in Sociology at Edinburgh Napier University. I have a keen interest in postcolonial and decolonial feminist perspectives, critical race theory, decolonising western epistemologies of knowledge production, and the intersecting dynamics of masculine and imperial domination. My research documents the relationship between gender, race and coloniality in the post-Soviet contexts. I also study gendered dynamics of neoliberalism, competition and identity work among women elite leaders in the UK.
