Honorary Associate Professor of History, The University of Queensland

I retired as Associate Professor of History from the University of Queensland in 2011. I am now an Honorary Associate Professor in the School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry at the University of Queensland. I'm interested in Colonial Australia in a global context, and am currently finishing a book about an opium trader who was friends with John Macarthur. I also write a blog - Historians are Past Caring https://learnearnandreturn.wordpress.com
