Mark Pasnik is an associate professor of architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology and a founding principal of over,under, a Boston-based architecture and design practice. His firm’s work has included the design of books and exhibitions, a university building in Qatar, a museum in Guatemala, resort communities in Belize and Egypt, and urban guidelines for Abu Dhabi’s new central business district. Mark has co-curated more than thirty exhibitions on topics related to Boston's modernism and urban transformation, architectural publishing and drawing, and urban biking through his gallery, pinkcomma, as well as with the Boston Society of Architects at BSA Space. In 2013 he was appointed by the mayor to a five-year term on the Boston Art Commission and selected for the American Institute of Architects' Young Architects Award. He is presently writing a book on Boston’s heroic concrete architecture, to be published by Monacelli Press later this year.
