Associate Professor & Head of Department for Politics & IR at the University of Reading, Mark spend the first 20 years of his career in journalism and business communication.

Teaching both US and UK politics, he has hit academia at a fruitful time. A specialist in Eisenhower, he is now researching outsider presidents and what motivates people to vote for them.
