High-quality education is critical to the development of healthy societies with a well-developed citizenry. Evidence-based practice based on sound theory underpins my scholarly work. I am a principal researcher on the Community of Inquiry framework for online and blended learning (http://www.thecommunityofinquiry.org/), which is designed to maximize deep learning and provide learners with a developmental and sustainable learning experience.
