Professor of Communication, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences

Martin Ndlela is a professor of communication at the Department of Organization, Leadership and Management, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. He holds a doctorate from the University of Oslo, Norway. He has published widely on media and communication. His books include the monographs Crisis Communication: A Stakeholder Approach (Palgrave Macmillan 2019), Interessentperspektiv på krisekommunikasjon (Universitetsforlaget 2019) and several co-edited works, including Social Media and Elections in Africa: Theoretical Perspectives and Election Campaigns (Palgrave Macmillan 2020), and Social Media and Elections in Africa: Challenges and Opportunities (Palgrave Macmillan 2020). He is the managing editor of the Journal of African Media Studies, and a research fellow at the Department of Strategic Communication, University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
