Lecturer in International Relations, University of St Andrews

Dr Mateja Peter is a Lecturer in International Relations at University of St Andrews, where she directs the Centre for Global Law and Governance. She serves on the management committee of the Scottish Council on Global Affairs. After completing her PhD, she held fellowships at research institutes in Washington, Berlin, and Oslo.

Dr Peter works at the intersection of international relations and law, researching on global governance, international organisations, and conflict management. She is currently acting as a research lead on a multi-partner PeaceRep project looking at the impact of global fragmentation on conflict management.
