PhD Candidate and Sessional Tutor, The University of Melbourne

Matt Novacevski is a PhD candidate exploring the evaluation of placemaking activity at the University of Melbourne. He also lectures in participatory planning, and has extensive experience in local government across small town planning, community engagement and urban design. Matt's work focuses on improving the urban commons and boosting the intangible elements that form bonds between people and places. His work is funded through a RTPI Scholarship through the Australian Government.
