Matteo Dutto is undertaking a PhD in the School of Fim, Media and Journalism at Monash University. His research interests revolve around Aboriginal story-telling and history-making practices and on the current struggle of young Indigenous film-makers and artists to introduce Indigenous perspectives in the discussions about Aboriginal history.

He also works as Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Therese Davis and Dr. Romaine Moreton and has recently contributed to the realization of the Australian Indigenous Film and Television Digital Bibliography (http://artsonline.monash.edu.au/indigenous-film-bibliography/), a unique resource where students, teachers, researchers, filmmakers and members of the public can access a wide range of sources of information about Australian Indigenous Film and Television.
