PhD Candidate, Molecular Virology, University of Kent

I am an MRC CASE PhD candidate in Molecular Virology at the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK. My main focus of study has been the molecular mechanisms of the influenza A virus from infection to replication and propagation. I have a wide area of interest across the spectrum of infectious disease, especially in the realms of treatment and prevention, which extends to how we can better use our understanding of disease on a research level and apply it to real world situations. I also have a passion for the dissemination of science in all its guises to experts and novices alike!
