Matthew Christopher Kolasa

Matthew C. Kolasa is an attorney and international relations researcher. He is a PhD student at the University of St Andrews School of International Relations in Scotland, where he specializes in central and eastern Europe and the power politics of pivot states. He completed his JD in International Law and MA in International Relations at Boston University as well as an MST in History of Art from the University of Oxford and BA in European History and PPE from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He was on the founding editorial team at Fair Observer and has had writings appear in Yahoo News Japan, ThePage.jp, The East Times, Critic Atac (Romania), Fair Observer, the Journal of Global South Studies, and Reviews in History. He is fluent in Polish and French.
