Matthew J. Liberatore

John F. Connelly Chair in Management at the Villanova School of Business, Villanova University

Matthew J. Liberatore is the John F. Connelly Chair in Management at the Villanova School of Business (VSB), Villanova University. He previously served VSB as the Associate Dean, chair of the Department of Management and Founding Director of the Center for Business Analytics. Prior to joining Villanova, Dr. Liberatore previously taught at Temple University and held management positions in operations analysis, information systems, and R&D planning at FMC Corporation. He also worked in operations analysis at RCA Corporation and the Management and Behavioral Science Center of the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Liberatore has authored ten books, published over 100 journal articles, and made over 150 presentations at academic and professional conferences. His current research focuses on supply chain planning, computing devices used for Business Intelligence, virtual reality, and project management. Dr. Liberatore received his BA, MS and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
