Principal Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, Nottingham Trent University

Matthew's PhD focussed on Sustainable Design and Education.

His research concerns Sustainability in relation to teaching and societal behavious and he maintains a special interest in transport particularly the automotive sector.

Prior to undertaking his PhD Matthew was a qualified secondary school teacher and retains links as an academic advisor for OCR in relation to 14-18 qualifications in Design and Technology. Matthew has also worked in the Automotive electronics sector as a Project Engineer and has a background also in Additive Manufacturing.
