Mattia Cacciatori

Lecturer in International Relations and International Security, University of Bath

I obtained my Master's degree in International Relations in 2011, that followed a BA in Oriental Languages and Institutions, with a thesis that focused on the problematics of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia.
I am currently a Lecturer at the University of Bath, focusing on the prosecution of sitting heads of state for international crimes. My research lies at the crossroads of International Relations and International Law, with a particular focus on the International Criminal Court and Transitional Justice.
I am currently a reviewer for the Oxford Journal of African Affairs (OJAA), for the International Journal of Transitional Justice (IJTJ), and Assistant Editor of the American Journal 'Eyes on the ICC'.
