Mauricio is an Environmental Engineer who specializes in Hydrogeology - he is interested in environmental related issues related to both quantity and quality of water. His experience spans from sanitary landfill modelling & design to groundwater modelling. Throughout his career, he has worked with resource developers, mining companies, research organisations, and government councils.

Mauricio is particularly interested in addressing environmental related issues associated with full-scale depressurisation operations within Coal Seam Gas (CSG) basins (i.e. aquifer depressurisation, wastewater characterisation, treatment, beneficial use, and disposal of CSG Waters). As a result of his work, Mauricio has published articles in the fields of hydrogeology, environmental science, and groundwater modelling.
