Dr Maxime Inghels is an early career researcher who holds a PhD in health demography from Université Paris Cité, a Master of International Public Health and Public Health (with distinction) from Bordeaux University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Chemistry from Lille 1 University. Maxime is also a member of the Senior Management Group of the Lincoln Clinical Trial Unit (LinCTU), and was a recipient of the Sidaction doctoral fellowship programme.

Dr Inghels is interested in interventions designed to reach populations who are not well-connected to health systems or those whose needs are poorly addressed in public health policies. He has specific interest in primary care access, epidemiology, and implementation sciences applied to sexual and reproductive health with work spanning the United Kingdom, France, Africa (Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Guinea, Burkina Faso, South Africa, Eswatini, and Zimbabwe), the Caribbean (Haiti), and Asia (Malaysia). He consults for international non-government organisations including Solthis, International Treatment Preparedness Coalition—ITPC, and Solidarité Sida.
