As a qualified Barrister, I worked with high-profile commercial and political clients between 2010 and 2012, before returning to academia in the North East. My PhD centred around forensic science and criminal investigations, with a focus on crime scene investigation.
I have worked with fifty police forces and federal organisations in the United States of America, and the United Kingdom. Areas of research have included policing studies, forensic science, data democratisation, robotics, artificial intelligence, imaging technologies, virtual and augmented reality.
