Mei Zi Tan

Mei Zi works for Carbon Market Institute, supporting the development of carbon markets in the Asia Pacific region.

Previously, Mei Zi worked as a senior analyst at Climateworks Centre and and as a sessional teaching staff at Monash University Business School. She has worked as a senior tax consultant at BDO and KPMG.

Mei Zi has published several conference papers on the design and performance of carbon markets in Europe and Asia. She has a PhD in Environmental Law and Bachelor of Business and Commerce, both at Monash University, and a Masters in Accounting, from the National University of Malaysia.
