I am primarily investigating in common-sense reasoning for artificial intelligence and cognitive robotics. My research interests included knowledge representation and reasoning, cognitive robotics, machine perception, and cognitive science.
As a research associate jointly at the UNSW School of Computer Science and Engineering and UNSW Creative Robotics Lab, I am investigating the recognition, formal representation and reasoning of human emotions for cognitive robotics.
The topic of my PhD thesis is “Reasoning About Action with Formal Context”. I am examining the use of context in formal logic for reasoning about the world, to better address problems in cognitive robotics.
