Professor of Chinese Digital Media and Culture, Queensland University of Technology

Michael Keane is adjunct professor at the Digital Media Research Centre at QUT. Michael’s key research interests are digital transformation in China; East Asian cultural and media policy; and creative industries and cultural export strategies in China and East Asia. His recent publication with Haiqing Yu, Elaine Zhao and Susan Leong is China's Digital Presence in the Asia-Pacific (December 2020, Anthem Press, Open Access.).
