Michael Organ is a digital archvist who worked at the University of Wollongong between 1989-2020, where he was formerly the University Archivist and Manager Repository Services. He has published in a number of areas pertaining to literature, Australian history, film and art history, library science and politics. He was co-editor of Illawarra Unity - Journal of the Illawarra Branch of the Australian Society for the Study of Labour History, and also author of Illawarra and South Coast Aborigines 1770-1850 (1989). Michael was the former Australian Greens Federal Member of Cunningham (Wollongong) 2002-4.
