Senior Lecturer (Business Information Systems), The University of Queensland

Dr Micheal Axelsen holds the position of Senior Lecturer (Business Information Systems) at the University of Queensland.

Micheal has extensive industry experience, and is a technical expert in the area of ICT management and governance having consulted in this area since 1997. Micheal is also an FCPA member of CPA Australia. Micheal continues to consult with industry as part of his role with the University of Queensland.

Academically, Micheal holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons), a Masters of Information Systems, and a Doctorate of Philosophy. Micheal’s PhD thesis considered the question of the impact of technology dominance upon professionals, and best practice in information systems audit.
