Michelle A Miller

Associate Professor (Reader) in Biochemical Medicine, University of Warwick

Dr Miller has employed a translational medicine approach to research. Her work spans a number of inter-connecting disciplines, including, biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics, epidemiology, medical statistics and population health science. She is a public Health Specialist and has a particular interest in Sleep and Sleep disorders. At the University of Warwick, she established the 'Sleep, Health and Society' research programme, with Professor Francesco P Cappuccio with whom she jointly leads the 'Sleep Medicine' Course for the Postgraduate Medical Degree Students. She is interested in Sleep and inflammatory mechanisms and their relationship to metabolic abnormalities and cardiovascular risk.

She is a member of Editorial Boards for International Journals and has published over 100 peer-review papers and book chapters.
