Michelle Maloney

Adjunct Senior Fellow, Law Futures Centre, Griffith University

Michelle is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Law Futures Centre, Griffith University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Law (Hons) from the Australian National University and a PhD in Law from Griffith University. She is Co-Founder and National Convenor of the Australian Earth Laws Alliance (AELA), whose mission is to increase the understanding and practical implementation of Earth centred governance, with a focus on law, economics, education and ethics. Michelle has co-edited two books and written more than a dozen articles and chapters on Earth laws and Earth jurisprudence; she also teaches Australia's first law course on Earth jurisprudence at Griffith Law School.
