I have worked on marine conservation issues for around 15 years, in government and, more recently, as a researcher. My research interest is in the human dimension of marine conservation and resource management. This has included investigations of the social acceptability of Marine Protected Areas, and the influence of social values, beliefs and attitudes in relation to commercial and recreational fisheries. My current research is investigating social equity considerations in the Blue Economy.
