Michelle Walter

I am a PhD candidate at the Youth research Centre, Graduate Schoolf of education, University of Melbourne. The main focus of my research is on mental health help-seeking, the mental health of tertiary students, gender and the body and autoethnography. I am looking at ways in which universities can promote help-seeking for mental health problems and as sites of mental health promotion. I also teach within the faculty of education.
I have a background in creative writing, history, fine arts and secondary teaching.
