Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award Fellow, University of Sydney

My primary research focus is the dynamics of wild bird viruses. I have spent 10 years working on the ecology and evolution of avian influenza virus in wild birds, and worked in labs in Canada, Sweden and Australia. My current research focus in on virus community ecology through revealing the entire virus communities of wild birds and attempting to understand the factors that modulate these virus communities.
