Mihnea Tanasescu is a research fellow of the Research Foundation Flanders, based at the Free University of Brussels (VUB), Belgium. He researches the evolving relationship between humans and the natural environment, from a philosophical as well as a political point of view. His latest projects examine the concept and practice of rewilding, as well as the inclusion of local participation in ecological restoration.
