Mitch Hunter is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Minnesota. His work focuses on improving agronomic management of intermediate wheatgrass as a dual-purpose forage and grain crop. Mitch’s graduate research at Penn State helped quantify clear and balanced goals for sustainable intensification. Mitch also evaluated the potential for cover crops and soil improvement to mitigate drought stress in maize. He serves on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Agronomy.
