Lecturer in Skill Acquisition and Motor Control, University of Newcastle

As a lecturer in exercise and sports science, Mitchell has experience teaching in multiple sub-disciplines; primarily motor control and skill acquisition. Mitchell's research is also multidisciplinary, incorporating elements of exercise physiology, motor control, skill acquisition, psychophysiology, and applied sports science. In particular, Mitchell is interested in investigating talent development in young athletes, and the influence of mental fatigue on team sport performance.
