Mogammad Sharhidd Taliep

Sharhidd Taliep is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sport Management at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Prof Taliep expertise is in sports and exercise science, with a special interest in cricket research and sport development. His niche areas include visual perception, biomechanics, player development, and strength and conditioning. He is active in his professional areas of expertise, which include serving on the Independent Scientific Advisory Committee to Cricket South Africa and the South African Football Association Medical and Sports Science Committee. Prof Taliep acts as a consultant for talent development and elite athlete programmes with a focus on performance enhancement and injury prevention. Prof Taliep served on several departmental and faculty committees, namely Faculty Ethics Research Ethics; Faculty Higher Degree Council; Faculty Health and Safety Committee and the Faculty Cooperative Education, Service Learning and Work Integrated Learning Committee.
