Mogammad Yaaseen Hendricks

Mogammad Hendricks obtained his BSc (Applied Geology) and MSc (Petroleum Geology) at the University of the Western Cape. He is a current PhD student with a main focus in sedimentology. His past research focussed on identifying the environmental conditions during the Early Cretaceous period using seismic data, sedimentary petrography, geochemistry and trace fossil analysis. He also completed an internship at Iziko Museums of South Africa where he conducted research on using geochemical analyses to reconstruct past sea surface temperatures for climatic studies.
