Reader in Gothic and Contemporary Studies, University of Westminster

I am the author of Bond Girls: Body, Fashion and Gender (Bloomsbury, 2019). I am particularly interested in popular culture and literature, the Gothic tradition, and more broadly in fiction and film that address gender and national concerns. Fields I am an expert in include the James Bond novels and films, Scottish Gothic, and the works of Ali Smith.
