Monika Barthwal-Datta

Lecturer in International Relations, UNSW

Monika Barthwal-Datta is currently Lecturer in International Security in the School of Social Sciences at University of New South Wales. Her main research areas include critical security studies, securitisation theory and human security. Her work focuses on non-traditional or ‘new’ security challenges, with an interest in how non-state actors shape security discourses, practices and outcomes at different levels.
