Mouhamad Bigwanto is a researcher and tobacco control advocates in the Faculty of Health Sciences, UHAMKA and SEATCA, Indonesia. He started his professional career as a public health researcher and advocate in 2015 after received his Master Degree in Health Care Management from Mahidol University, Thailand with a scholarship from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education.
Currently he is serving as Asst. Professor for health policy and management. He published several articles on tobacco control and often involved in media advocacy for tobacco control. His research interest mainly about tobacco industry interference and the novel tobacco products (ENDS and HTPs) in Indonesia. He is officially registered as public health expert and since Sept 2020 strart his PhD Degree at Eotvos Lorand University
