Mustafa Hashmi is currently Research Fellow at La Trobe Law School, La Trobe University, and Visiting Research Scientist at Data 61, CSIRO Australia. Mustafa received his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2015 from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, and Masters degree in IT in 2004 from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). He joined NICTA (now Data61, CSIRO) as a graduate researcher to work on Business Process Compliance. Before that he has been working in Germany in various capacities primarily in ICT domain. Mustafa’s research interests include, but not limited to, in the areas of automation and analysis of business processes, regulatory compliance management, non-monotonic reasoning, defeasible and model logics and their applications to solve complex problems in large scale enterprises.
