The Pro Vice Chancellor (PVC) is pivotal in guiding the transformation of Unisa to effectively respond to internal and external challenges while ensuring that the institution remains sustainable during unprecedented change in the world of higher education. Since 2012 the PVC is responsible for cohering the ICT, Open Distance and e-Learning, Organizational Architecture, Open Education Resources (OERs), Academic Planning and Procurement streams into a super-nexus that will take Unisa confidently into the digital age.
