Natasja Rupesinghe is a Research Fellow at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) and a DPhil candidate in International Relations at Nuffield College at the University of Oxford. She has a bachelor’s in international Relations and French from the University College London and a master in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her PhD examines insurgent mobilisation and civilian-led resistance in the Sahel. More broadly, her research focuses on dynamics of conflict, political violence, civilian agency and international peace operations
