Associate Professor of Special Education, Boston University

I am an associate professor in special education and educational policy at the Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. In my research, I focus on teacher quality, teacher development, and school improvement, with a specific emphasis on conceptualizing and measuring teaching effectiveness. I have served as principal investigator or co-principal investigator on several projects funded by the Institute of Education Sciences, the National Science Foundation, and others. I an an associate editor at the Journal of Teacher Education.
