Nathan Stephens-Griffin

Dr Nathan Stephens-Griffin started as a Lecturer in Criminology at Northumbria University in September 2018. His research interests include political activism, environmentalism and animal rights advocacy, criminalisation of protest, and the use of biographical and visual research methods, in particular comics. He is currently undertaking research on the impact of Undercover Policing in the UK Environmentalist movement. He is the author of 'Understanding Veganism: Biography and Identity' (Palgrave, 2017).
