Navajyoti Samanta

Lecturer in commercial law, University of Sheffield

I joined Sheffield as lecturer in commercial law in September 2015. Much of my teaching and research is focused on company law and corporate governance. I am in the final stages of my doctoral research at University of Sheffield, which focuses on empirically investigating the impact of adoption of shareholder primacy corporate governance on growth of financial market in emerging economies. Prior to commencing my doctoral studies, I worked as an Assistant Professor at National Law University, Orissa.
