Professor of Human Geography, University of Exeter

Neil Adger is Professor of Human Geography. He is a Fellow of the UK Academy of Social Sciences. He teaches, supervises graduate students, and researches in the areas of environmental geography, ecological and institutional economics, and global environmental change. He has contributed to international and UK scientific assessments of climate change adaptation, global risks and ecosystem change. Neil is currently leading research on migration, demographic change and sustainability, and on adaptation to climate change and public health.
