Professor of Global Security, Coventry University

I am an International Relations PhD graduate of the Australian National University and have taught at the University of Adelaide and Charles Darwin University and at universities in the UK over 30 years. I specialise in a range of subjects related to China, Japan, East Asia and the Asia-Pacific I have advised the UNDP, the International Development Research Centre in Ottawa and UK national research councils. I am a member of the International Institute of Strategic Studies in London and the British Academy of Social Science.
