Nicholas Martin

Nick graduated from the University of Surrey with a degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2009. Having worked in the aerodynamics department at the Toyota Formula One Team, Nick continued research into aerodynamics back at the University of Surrey where in 2013 he obtained his PhD which looked at numerical and experimental analysis of Synthetic Jet actuators for flow control.

Nick then spent over 4 years working at the Williams Formula One Team in the aerodynamics department, before deciding to return to academia at Northumbria University. Nick is currently a Senior Lecturer in Aerodynamics teaching on the Mechanical and Automotive Engineering courses.
