Senior Manager Biostatistics Unit at Human Technopole and Honorary Fellow, The University of Edinburgh

My research revolves around understanding how DNA variations are associated with differences in common human characteristics such as height, weight or diseases. I focus on finding the genetic variations that determine differences in food preferences and choices to understand their biological meaning. These genetic variations are also exploited to understand the causal effects of food consumption health. The final goal of my research is to improve public policy, food products and therapeutical approaches to help people follow a more nutritious diet.
